Global Business Week 2025 will be held at the Equator

The highly anticipated Global Business Week 2025 will take place from July 7 to 15, 2025, in the stunning tropical paradise of the Maldives. This prestigious international event, now celebrating its 25th anniversary, will bring together top entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators from over 35 countries for a week of dynamic forums, networking opportunities, and discussions aimed at shaping the future of global business.

Global Business Week (GBW) has long been recognized as one of the most significant gatherings for the international business community. Over the years, it has established itself as a platform for fostering partnerships, driving innovation, and promoting sustainable economic growth on a global scale.

The 2025 edition promises to be no different, offering participants an extraordinary environment to exchange ideas, collaborate, and gain invaluable insights into the evolving global market.

GLOBAL COUNTRY DAY will be held in the frame of Global Business Week 2025

🌍 Global Country Day: A Celebration of Nations & Unity

As the sun sets on the second evening of the Startup World Cup Championship, the venue transforms into a dazzling celebration of the world’s cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit. Global Country Day is not just a highlight of the event—it is a heartfelt tribute to international friendship, global identity, and shared values, wrapped in color, sound, and pride.

This exclusive gala evening, held as part of the Global Business Week, brings together countries, cultures, and communities for an unforgettable cultural and educational showcase, blending heritage, innovation, and youth leadership. It is a living symbol of what the Startup World Cup Championship stands for: collaboration, connection, and creation beyond borders.

🇺🇳 A Global Stage for Every Nation

Global Country Day is more than a festive celebration—it is a diplomatic and educational platform where young entrepreneurs proudly represent their countries not only through business projects, but through culture, art, and identity. It is an international “business-meets-culture” showcase, embodying values of unity, understanding, and intercultural exchange.

🏛️ Structure of the Event

Held in a grand banquet hall or convention space, the evening includes a curated blend of exhibitions, performances, and a ceremonial parade:

🇨🇳 1. COUNTRY EXPO-STANDS

Each country is given a dedicated expo table where they can:
  • Display national flags, branding elements, postcards, souvenirs, and cultural items
  • Share traditional foods or snacks with guests
  • Distribute printed brochures and gifts
  • Sell handcrafted goods created by students as part of their startup projects.
🎁 Recommendation: Each delegation should prepare at least 100+ souvenirs or items per type to exchange or gift, encouraging active participation and memory-making.

👘 2. NATIONAL COSTUMES PARADE

All participants—including students, teachers, and parents—dress in traditional national costumes, turning the space into a living mosaic of global fashion and culture.
This segment is a powerful photo opportunity and a moment of deep cultural pride.

🎤 3. CULTURAL PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE

Each country delegation presents a 5–15-minute cultural segment, created and performed by students and educators themselves. Formats may include:
  • Traditional music or dance
  • A slideshow presentation about the country’s history, landscape, or innovations
  • Skits or short cultural stories
  • A song or poem in the native language
This segment is both entertaining and educational, revealing the creative potential of each team and offering the audience a rich, immersive experience.

🎖️ 4. THE PARADE OF COUNTRIES

The evening concludes with the official Parade of Countries, where each national delegation is invited to the stage in a ceremonial march, waving their flags and standing proudly as representatives of their homeland. The energy is high, the music is symbolic, and the atmosphere is united—one of celebration and respect.

The Mission Behind Global Country Day

Beyond its festive atmosphere, Global Country Day serves a deeper educational and diplomatic purpose. It develops in every young participant key intercultural and entrepreneurial qualities that define tomorrow’s global leaders:

🟡 Patriotism – love and responsibility for one’s homeland
🔵 Globalism – understanding the interdependence of countries and people
🟢 Unity – learning to work together despite cultural differences
🔴 Curiosity – a genuine interest in learning about one’s roots
🟠 Multiculturalism – an appreciation and openness to other traditions
🟣 Common Wealth Thinking – the entrepreneurial mindset of cooperation across nations

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Engagement and Sponsorship

Teachers, parents and partners are active co-creators of the Global Country Day experience. They help:
  • Prepare expo-stands
  • Source national costumes and souvenirs
  • Organise transport of traditional items
  • Fund the materials required for performances
🌐 Why It Matters: From Local Pride to Global Vision

In a world that demands innovation and understanding in equal measure, Global Country Day is a vital reminder that our diversity is our strength, and that true entrepreneurship is built on empathy, communication, and connection.

For many students, this event becomes a defining memory of their youth—a moment when they stood not only as startup creators, but also as cultural ambassadors of their country on a world stage.
